Formery Link Bridge
Formery Link Bridge

Auckland CBD, New Zealand
Completed
Architecturally designed by Ignite Architects, the link bridge unites Formery East and West—spanning 87 Albert, 60 Federal, and 16 Kingston Streets—to form a vital internal connection across the precinct. More than a passage, it enhances wayfinding, encourages movement, and binds previously separate city blocks into a cohesive, walkable network. CTRL Space carried the Formery East material palette through the bridge into Formery West, reinforcing spatial flow. At the western threshold sits 'Apart and Together' an artwork installation by Japanese artist Teppei Yamada—the work depicts ten sculptural heartbeats that explore cultural unity, grounding the space with emotional depth and complementing the bridge’s connective architectural purpose.
