Despite changing hand a number times since it completion, the original Kokako Roastery, Grey Lynn was the epitome of retro-industrial design.  An open roastery housed inside stacking garage doors, exposed framing and vintage villa windows all combined to provide a landmark site in the heart of Grey Lynn.
