Following the success of Dr Rudis, the Saint Alice was brief aimed to appeal to a more feminine market. Being elevated on level 1, the site needed to attract attention from the street level. A striking lighting application highlights the expansive balcony overlooking the glittering harbour.

The palette is fresh and delicate with colours and materials being derived from the history of the building.  Paint chips taken from the plaster during the demolition phase were matched to create our own tones and unique colour (Alice Pink). Artisan tiles were used to counterpoise the rough fabric of the building and add in a much-needed finesse and detailing.  The flooring was reclaimed from a local school and was intended to retain as much character as possible.
